The US Grant Hotel wanted to hold an event to reveal their newly remodeled rooms and wedding space. To add an air of sophisticated intrigue, the entire invitation we designed was interactive. We created a modern code finder puzzle with an origami-inspired envelope that was addressed to guests with hand written calligraphy and custom wax seals to finish off the look. We created wording that–when lined up with the invitation/code finder–gave the time and date of the event. Guests then brought the invitation with them to the event and were sent on a hunt to find a room with a black light that then revealed the final destination, which was written in invisible ink on the back of the invitation.
